Privacy

The short version

The tools run entirely in your web browser. The title, blurb, keywords and anything else you paste are processed on your own device. They are not uploaded, stored or seen by us. Close the tab and they're gone. The only thing the site stores is your email address, if you choose to join the newsletter list (see below).

What we don't do

• No accounts or logins.
• No advertising trackers.
• No analytics scripts at present.
• No cookies set by this site at present.

What our host may record

Like any website, the hosting provider that serves these pages may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and reliability. This site is currently served by Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Newsletter signups

If you join the list, we store your email address, the date and time, which page or tool you signed up from, and your browser's user-agent string. The data is kept in Cloudflare's storage service (Workers KV), and only Clue to Cart™ can see it.

We don't send any email yet. The first issue is coming soon. When the newsletter starts, we plan to move the list to our email service provider (Kit) and will update this page before doing so. Every issue will include an unsubscribe link.

We never sell or share your email address. The signup form has a hidden spam-trap field. Anything entered there is discarded.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to Amazon and other sites. Their privacy policies apply once you're there.
